Welcome to Rehab Tech School! 

We offer a pathway to certification as a Rehabilitation Technician!  Whether you are already a Rehabilitation Technician or you want to become a Rehabilitation Technician, this certification is for you.  This  certification will prepare you to work under the supervision of licensed professionals in a variety of health care settings including hospitals, nursing home and sports medicine clinics.  This is a growing field with the possibility of advancement (Go to Career Outlook).  


What is a Rehabilitation Technician?

Rehabilitation Technicians work along side Physical and Occupational therapists in a variety of settings.  They assist the therapist in carrying out  a patient's treatment program.  Common duties include:

• Transporting patients to therapy area
• Setting patients up on equipment
• Assisting with the application of modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
• Gym maintenance
• Demonstration therapeutic exercise
• Making patients feel welcome and comfortable
• Office duties
• Wheel chair maintenance
